🔍 Data TooltipHover over any data point during editing or presentation to see a tooltip with detailed information about your values.
📊 Count of RowsA new virtual series called Count of Rows in your data allows you to instantly show counts for any category, making it easier to visualize totals for selected categories on your charts.
🖼️ Social Sharing ThumbnailSharing a Vizzu on social media now includes a simple thumbnail.
This update brings some minor but important improvements to make your Vizzu experience smoother:
Fixed Duplicate Column NamesIf your dataset contains multiple columns with the same name, we now automatically append (1), (2), and so on to the duplicates. No more conflicts when uploading datasets with identical column names.
Improved Slide TitlesResolved an issue where, after manual entry, the next slide’s title would flash briefly before the animation. Titles now appear smoothly with the animation.
SSO ImprovementUsers who registered via Google SSO but didn’t have a given name on their account will be registered with a generic name (‘Vizzu User’) without interruptions.

📊 Visual, On-Chart FilteringThink of it as an intuitive visual zoom. Select key data points to zoom in on the details that matter, or zoom out for a broader perspective. Whether you’re comparing categories, diving into time periods, or analyzing the overlap of both, Vizzu lets you explore your data seamlessly.
🔁 Auto-Slide ToggleNot every moment requires a new slide - sometimes you’re experimenting. Now, you can toggle the auto-slide function on and off as needed.

Vizzu v0.3.1 has new capabilities that help you work with your go to data tool, Excel, as well. You asked for it we added: titles and captions can be modified. And you can show your vizzu on mobile to your boss with ease by using our new swipe functionality.
✏️ Title EditingCustomize your headlines and captions. While we still auto-generate titles for your slides, now you can add that personal touch to catch your audience’s attention.
📁 Excel UploadUpload Excel files directly into Vizzu. Choose your worksheet, and you’re all set to visualize your data easily - no need for CSV conversion anymore.
📱 Swipe vizzus on MobileYour published vizzus just got a viewer-friendly update. Your audience can now swipe through your data stories quickly on their mobile devices, whether on the move or lounging at home.
No release is complete without some bug fixes, and other quality-of-life improvements.
📢 Publish VizzusShare the presentation view of your vizzu data story with anyone via a link by publishing it. Published vizzus get a dedicated page and can be unpublished at any time.
➕ Auto Slide CreationTo facilitate experimentation, data discovery, and story building, from now on, we automatically add a new slide to your presentation every time you make a change to your charts. Having more steps between the stages of your story helps your audience understand it more easily.

👆 Multi-Select and Delete SlidesIn the editor, you can select and delete multiple slides by holding the [Shift] button and selecting the slides you want to remove.
🖼️ Updated Gallery ViewWe’ve separated your vizzus from the pre-uploaded samples, making it easier to find and access your stories.
▶️ Vizzu Animation Speed ChangesWe’ve sped up the animations in the editor view to accelerate your workflow. Additionally, we’ve slowed down the animations in the presentation view, making it easier for your audience to follow along.
